well i was hoping i wouldn't have to watch my diet but i think i will.

Today's bike ride was nothing but medicine, I was sick all week, I'm broke, felt like hell today, down in the dumps, and on the verge of wigging out but after a short 9 mile ride to pick up some candy for my mom I stopped by my grandad's house and he told me this:
"If you could get down to 235 or so you would be a beast on that bike."
I'm a shade over 255

So I'm in a much better mood.
it was nice outside today but I opted to wait and ride in the dark and listen to the new heaven and hell album

Now that I can drive, I'll be exploring some new trails in the woods of the Meon Valley on my bike. I love cross country mountain biking, but riding through the winter seems to reduce my precious bike to nothing more than a rusty muddy paste. Also, I've started working out again in the vain hope I might actually put muscle on this time and look reasonably stocky. Here's hoping...

I'm eating Burger King cheeseburgers out of styrofoam packaging, drinking lots of Coke and beer (and throwing the containers over the recycle bin to the garbage), and laying on the couch watching TV like a good American

That's cool--I've heard cycling can do wonders for your coordination because you use all your limbs simultaneously. Apparently that's why boxers do it.

Hey, just like my parents do, but that recycling bin is used for the beer cans, so once they collect enough cans it will pay for another 6 pack

just wondering, do you live in the US or are you from somewhere else and just using that as a stereotype

Following Crossfit Football (a bit modified for my individual needs), along with some other stuff on the side for weight loss. I've been putting together a nice home gym in my garage so I won't have any excuse if I'm to lazy to go to the gym. I'd also like to start going on some long runs once or twice a week (5 or 10k) just for the pleasure of it. Besides that just some friendly basketball and sand volleyball with friends whenever I get the chance.
