I'm going to see the Australia v Netherlands 'friendly' tomorrow evening - just hope the weather holds out a bit.

Should be a good game, near to full-strength sides.

I don't like it so much, though my dad is a total fan of it, he used to be in a semi-professional football team some time ago, I was bored to death the times he took me to see him play it.

No, I never had an interest in sports. A bunch of guys kicking around an inflated ball just wasn't enough to make me care. I do remember that a friend of mine who likes sports told me to get a team and I said West Ham because some guy in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the Playstation 1 mentioned it in a secret area.

I don't even know what the colours are.

Had a season ticket for years now and go to as many away games as I can and is just about the only thing I like doing out of my house (Yes I am sad ).

Didn't think this thread was still going!

I'm a season ticket holder at Bristol Rovers and have been following them since I started uni up here. Our seasons been pretty good so far but we're on a bit of a bad run, especially away. We should finish somewhere between 6-10 and thats what i predicted before the season started, but if we get a couple of good signings then hopefully it will be at the higher end of my prediction.

Since I was a kid though I've also been following Man United, though my interest in them has started to decrease a little in the last few years. I was given a book about their history when I was young, just when I started to get into about football and thought they were a fascinating team to follow. I'm not sure how tomorrows game against Leeds will pan out. It will depend on what side we bring out, but if I was a betting man (which i am!) then i'd say we should have enough.

Does anybody know which, if any, of the fa cup matches will be live on itv tomorrow?

I'm getting more into football now. It can be boring at times, because there isn't much action going on, but there is nothing quite like a goal scored in front of a home crowd.

I don't really support a team in England but I do enjoy watching the FA Cup.

With results such as Leeds Utd defeated Manchester Utd 1-0, it's no wonder why people become interested in the FA Cup purely because of the upsets by lower division clubs over Premier League clubs.

Well, still a bit disappointed today over the Celtic v Rangers result. 1-1 draw and yet Celtic had a large percentage of possession and goal scoring chances.
The disallowed goal by Fortune should've been counted as a goal (not seeing it through green and white glasses either). How did Kyle Lafferty remained on the pitch after a dangerous tackle surprised me also.

Ha'way the lads, wor Toons (Newcastle United that is) still hev a chance in winning it all. And Leeds' win really proved tha impossible is nothing... So aye wi can!! ! :D

Don't you mean "Howay the lads", "Ha'way the lads" is the Sunderland accent. If you're going to support the "Doon Army" then you'll have to learn the correct accent first.
