Difficulty in Sleeping
I find myself unable to sleep unless a television is playing. I am able to simply play my television at night time which is conveniently located near by bed, but when going on holiday I am unable to sleep due to the lack of television.
I wish to enquire if any other users of this website face the same dilemma.

Yep. Cartoon Network. Every night. All night.
If my wife switches it off in the middle of the night, I wake up. Unfortunately, if she leaves it on a channel that plays infomercials, I don't wake up - I just have spooky weird dreams.
I have managed to get by with the volume turned down to the bare minimum.it doesn't seem to matter that I can actually hear words.
It's clear it's a stimulation thing. I also have to maintain a fairly consistent level of stimulation during the day too. Nicotine, music, reading, toys, games, and other stims too numerous to list here.
The nighttime TV is important since I can't do any off the other stims while asleep.
