I have been to a doctor for headaches (half of the time, for over a year) and he thinks I might have high blood pressure. Does anyone know if this could be related to anxiety/hypervigilance? I don't want to bring my doctor in on my AS unless I can benefit from it.

Seems strange that he would suggest it but not check for it. Ask to have your systolic and diastolic measured to be sure of it. High blood pressure can be caused by stimulus such as stress, anxiety, caffeine, basically anything that can cause high levels of cortisol to be released over a period of time.

He checked it once, and it was high, and I need to go back so he can see it it is consistently high. I don't have a high caffeine intake, and I think stress caused by social anxiety is an issue. Should I simply disclose that I have a social anxiety issue?
