Whom here has actually played baseball in their lifetime? How was it?
---
I played in Little League, it was fun, but sadly no pics exist of me ever doing it. I was primarily an infielder, IIRC.

I played a few years in high school. I was not the greatest, but I tried as hard as I could. MY position was Right Field, and the last year I played I ended up batting 1.000.

I played 3 seasons a year most of my life through my junior year of high school.

I was good but not great, I could hit the s**t out of the ball and could play comfortably anywhere in the outfield or, in a pinch, catcher. I could easily have played D-3 college ball but I went to a D-1 university and knew in advance I definitely was not that good.

I was horrible at baseball as a kid, when I didn't like baseball.

Now, I love baseball, and I want to try playing again, eggspecially since I discovered that right-handed me is lefty in baseball.

BTW, I bat and throw right-handed.

I just might consider joining an adult league someday.

Are there any adult baseball leagues nearby your place? I might try getting into one in the future.

Oh man if I lived in proximity to an actual city I'd look into it for damn sure. I'd have to get into a little better shape (especially if it was a wood bat league) but yeah absolutely I'd get down.

I remember when I was a kid my friend's dad played random adult ball and I went to a bunch of those games, dude those were some high-end ball players. My buddy's dad played in the minors when he was younger, he was a pitcher and could still throw salt pellets in his early 40s. Those dudes were throwing smoke and some serious junk that was far beyond most of what I saw at the high school level.

I think I could hit em if I was in the shape I was when I was 27, I'd love to find out.
