So basically if you eat healthy you will feel better? Doesn't have to do with autism. Just that if you eat food that is better for you then you will feel better, no way!

I do not have issues with gluten...

I have no idea what this has to do with fighting autism. I don't think any diet fights autism, though. Hmm.

I have heard about diets lacking casein and gluten help improve symptoms of autism. That was a long time ago though, and a lot of normal people report their lives improved by eliminating foods/drink with casein and gluten, but who knows.

Here an example of diet.
-All foods without exception.
-Those foods, morning, noon and evening, 10mn before meal :
Carrot 13g (for the Beta-caroten)
1/2 Brazil nuts (2g) (for the selenium)
Pineapple juice 46ml (for the manganese)
Lychee 28g (for the vitamin B6)
-And a high amount of Calcium products in each of your meal.

Now, you have all to know.

I've read Dr. Cannell has had some luck treating autism symptoms by raising patients and followers testing D3 levels to around 50ng/ml. One of his articles about that.

"Introducing the Vitamin D Theory of Autism"

Red Pepper contains so many good things, we could do only a cure with him. I elected him the autism fruit. Just don't forget the calcium.

recipe idea: Roasted Corn, Tomato and Red Pepper Soup

Sweet, I could do this diet. I'd subsequently die, but there you go...

The simple fact is, a healthy diet is good for anyone, and there are no foods that are 'super' foods or 'autistic busting' foods or any of that. However, if you have a metabolic disorder, you won't be able to eat certain foods and if you have allergies you'll have to cut those foods out too. It's just basic common sense.

Autism isn't 'caused' by one thing and therefore it can't be treated with one thing, not over a whole population, anyway. Autistic traits might be caused by gluten overload in one person, and have no effect on the next autistic person. I was put on an exclusion diet when I was younger and the only difference it made was to make me lose weight, and to realise how much I loved soy milk.

A little update could be good.

Actually, i have a diet that put me in a clear state. The new is, the the vitamin K that have a huge effect on my mood ( that is not an euphemism).

So to resume my actual diet:
-no gluten,
-complements: Calcium (1200mg), Vitamin K (33mcg)
-Everydays: Ananas juice (for Manganese), 1 Brazil nut (for Selenium), potatoes (for B6)

Selenium has a major role in that diet, because, without, nothing works.
Gluten is the thing that make my eyes blankly. (vegetative state).
I get into, also with track of gluten, but less intensively.

Those elements are synergistic, with others normally present in your alimentation. You might not need a calcium complement.

If you still not believe me, you can see my works assisted by that diet: http://www.youtube.com/user/Ill7an

I think it's sarcastic "disbelief", along the lines of "you don't say?".

my best diet has been:
still no gluten
menu of the noonday: lentils, rice, peanuts, Himalayan salt, olive oil, apple, pear, pineapple juice, supplements: vitamin D, calcium, "thyroid energy" by the brand "Now".
menu of the evening: rice, peas, Himalayan salt, olive oil, apple, pineapple juice, supplements: vitamin D, calcium, b2, b6.

There were also a direct strange link between tomatoes and my active sexuality. But it was back after one week. Too long time without tomatoes had a bad effect.

Thanks for the readers.

I feel that food contributes as a large factor in the symptoms of Autism, anxiety or depression.

My symptoms and social skills have improved because of a gluten, caffeine and wheat free diet.

Brown rice and lentils. :)

Chlorella helps me as it can detox the body and clear out any metals that might be amplifying Autism.
