Taco Cabana is a favorite of mine, they make a great attempt at making decent Mexican food. * for a fast-food chain that is *

Jimmy John's is another place I like as well, where they make subs. * they say it's gourmet but I doubt it. *

The best is a Canadian chicken chain called Mary Brown's. I could eat there everyday as their chicken and taters are divine! I remember when they opened a location around the corner from me: I had to check my pulse to make sure I wasn't dead  As for the big chains, I would say McDonalds even though I will only eat two menu items: McNuggets and Fries. They are the most consistent, most convenient and ironically enough is the one and only food that has never made me feel sick or queasy.

For those who think these foods are fattening, unhealthy, etc I'm actually underweight and I eat fast food all the time. When I reduced the amount I ate out, my weight and health did not change at all.

When my sister and I were younger, we loved going to McDonalds and Burger King.

Now, it's Burgerville and Quiznos, though we don't go there very often.

I don't go to any.

There's one Mongolian restaurant I visit a few times a year though where you select a plateful of ingredients before picking oils/sauces/garnishes and see it stir fried under searing heat, which is made well, pretty fastly. And the same restaurant exists in a nearby town too, so if a chain can be made of two links and healthy bowls of stir fry count as fast food then I'm going for that.

Subway is probably my favorite fast food chain overall, as there is a metric ton of variety compared to most other fast food places, and the ingredients that go onto the subs actually resemble "real" food, so I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off buying some overly-processed junk.

As strange as this may sound, I'm also a fan of McDonalds. Their fries are amazing, their burgers are like meaty, greasy delicious gut-bombs, and best of all, they're cheap! Of course, I probably wouldn't be as much of a fan if I actually lived in a community that had one, and since I've pretty much lived in various small towns all my life, McDonalds has always been a once-in-a-while thing for when I go to a major center.

I used to be a Taco Bell fan, but then one day I discovered that the two things I usually got there (a crunchwrap supreme with fries supreme) were the only decent items on the menu. I still enjoy getting them once in a while, but usually I prefer just to make my own tex-mex stuff at home. It's cheaper, higher quality, and probably healthier as well. :P

A&W is another solid chain, and you can find a location for them in practically every small town in Canada. They've got good burgers, good chicken, and they have poutine made with actual cheese curds! :D They don't seem as special to me as the other chains though, since their fare is more "pedestrian" than Subway, and I've eaten there 100x as many times as I've eaten at McDonalds.

Wendy's and DQ are awesome once in a while too, though I still prefer Subway and A&W for the most part.

Dang, now I want a burger. XD
