Does a bycle helmet ruin your hair long term? Especially if its thick hair?

Say if you cycle for 4 hours daily will it have a long term effect?

Well, there have been no tests into this, but if it was fitted correctly I would assume not, as it simply sits on your head, but if it was loose it may rub and pull out hair. So basically, if fitted correctly, I would say no

No, the helmet doesn't ruin anything. But multiple concussions, or a sub-dural hematoma, can ruin your brain. One slowly, the other rather quickly.

Wear the helmet.

nothing I have ever worn messed my hair up other than right when I took it off

what has had real effect on it is dying it and using a hair dryer too much, keep the chemicals off and it should be fine.
