I started taking Haldol/Haloperidol awhile back & I read that it can cause problems with memory & other cognitive abilities. I'm dyslexic & have ADHD & always had some problems with memory, focus/attention & other cognitive things. I do feel like things may be alittle worse on Haldol but I tolerate it OK & it's helping the issue I'm taking it for along with afew other things. I already take afew vitamins/supplements like C, one with the Bs & a good multi & I'm wondering what would be some good 1s to take for memory, focus/attention & other cognitive abilities or just to counteract Haldol's cognitive side-effects. I took fish oil before & thinking maybe going back on it but I'm wondering if it'll be good idea & what would be some other 1s to try.

Ginseng is supposed to improve cognitive functions but on one website said that it shouldn't be taken along with certain antidepressants because it can cause manic episodes and tremors. So it's a good idea to consult your doctor before taking anything.

I take Trazodone & it's one of the 1s it shouldn't be taken with. Your rite about being safer to discuss em with the doc.

I take Dendrobium Nobile. It's a stimulant, but not the type that you feel physically. It's like there are 10 radio stations on at the same time, in my head. When I take Dendrobium, 7 of those 10 turn off. About 45 minutes after taking it, my senses become heightened and I feel much more focused. I find myself able to block out enough noise to really dial in on whatever I'm doing. In the weight room, I feel more in touch with my own body and am able to channel a higher degree of power into every lift. It's a keeper, I'm not looking back!
