Eat to live. I was around 100lbs overweight when I was 18, stopped consuming solids for 6 months~ and lived off of carnation instant breakfasts (powder with skim milk). I was consuming just below 1000cal a day. Since that experience my views and even tastes on food have changed, I am addicted to suppliments and healthier types of food, especially given my limited access and desire to try new and consume.

I do forget to eat sometimes though. And I begrudgingly eat junk food out of convenience, especially when it's hard to agree on the meal or place with house mates. Lately my old enemy sweet potatoes and I have become the best of friends. I microwave them 10 to 12 minutes... I could eat 4 in the right mood.

I eat to live, and often have to remind myself to eat on weekends when I am gaming my behind off ...

I eat to live, mostly due to my economic situation not being ideal at the moment. In a month I'm moving away from my current place that turned out to be a lot more expensive than it should have, so as my monthly bills get lower I should be able to afford to eat properly then.

I'm a foodie, so definitely the latter. But I have also been watching my portions lately.

Kind of both. I eat a plant-based diet so my meals tend to be low calorie-wise, so I tend to digest them quickly. My metabolism has also always been pretty high. As a result, I get hungry really often.

I'm a sensory seeker and crave the sensation of different foods, too, which makes me crave certain tastes and textures at various times. I often de-stress with low-calorie crunchy foods like popcorn or kale chips.

At first I thought this was an actual question about human biology
Uh well, sometimes I do forget to eat actually, and my schedule is completely out of order.
When I am depressed, I barely eat at all(once my family managed to almost starve me)
And sometimes, I binge eat.
I have plans to actually make a well calculated eating schedule with planned meals, but I am too lazy.
