I'm 5'4.5, but I round up to 6' when people ask.

Well I was 5ft2 when I turned 12 so that would mean I would grow to 6’1 according to a height prediction calculator.

^ They are often not at all accurate. People grow at different rates.

I've known guys who have joked about 'rounding up' their height. Usually guys who are 5'9 to 5'11 saying that they are 6ft. It happens.

Some guys are insecure about their height. I know someone who is 5'7 and he prefers to date women who are shorter than him. He disliked that I was taller when I joined the group. (Barely, I'm 5'8, so that's not much of a difference. Besides, there was already a 5'9 woman in the group). Personally I haven't met his current girlfriend. However, I know she's fairly short.

There's another guy who is shorter than both of us but he is not insecure about his height. Calls himself a short king and takes it in stride. I would say he comes across as confident and he's been on a fair few dates. So height isn't everything.

My mate who's 6'7 definitely couldn't lie about his height. It would be pretty funny though if someone asked how tall he is and he said '5'4' with a straight face. :lmao:

Ok. I don't know about that.

My bf is 5ft 8 and I'm 5ft 6 (now since I've grown) and he likes that he's got that bit of height on me. My ex was also 5ft 8 as well. I don't see that as being short.

According to those both of my brothers should be taller than me. The one who was supposed to be 6'3" is 5'9" or so.

When I was dating Dh he was 5’10 and a bit. My mom was 6’ tall. They would both tell people they were 5’11. So it was very funny to me to see them next to each other.

I tell people my son is 6’ tall and he says “no I’m not.” He actually measures 5’ 11 7/8” barefoot.

The thing is the guy I know who claims “6ft5” looks normal tall really in person or maybe a bit above regular tall.

Shouldn’t a 6ft5 guy look massive? 3 months ago I was talking to a guy outside a nightclub who claimed 6ft3 and he looked huge.
