My hygiene is perfect. It's flawless. One of the reasons I have a hard time with people in general, NT and aspie alike, is because most are beneath my level of hygiene.

Only a few women and gay guys seem to be close to my level of hygiene. Other people have described me as being "unnaturally fresh, almost plastic" and having an "aura of freshness and cleanliness" around me. I tend to use this as a barrier between myself and others, I'm like a sort of Ice Queen.

WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY! :hail:

Just kidding dude.

But I suppose I'm actually not worthy. My hygiene is pretty average. I shower daily and shave occasionally and I have to take extra care of my teeth because I drink black coffee more or less by the gallon, and that's about all the energy I have to spare.

I shower daily and hate being sweaty and refuse to go out with greasy hair and have got to wash it everyday. So my heygeine is pretty good.

I can be very picky about hygiene - mine and other's. My acute sense of smell can be annoying sometimes.

What would make a hygiene routine flawless?

I
- shower daily w/ soap
- make sure I stay fresh during the day, unless it's not possible (e.g.traveling in a bus for 24 hours:\)
- brush teeth twice a day, 3 minutes each time, use mouthwash once a day. Don't floss daily 'cause I damage my gums too much.
- Make sure bodily hair is kept in check/removed
- shampoo hair 2 times a week, condition every day
- wash face twice a day, sometimes three times (but the third will be warm water only)

I do have a tendency to wear my jeans for over a week though. Which I'm sure is not too hygienic.
Though I rarely sweat.

I brush my teeth twice a day, dont put on deorderant, were clothes 2-3 times before I wash it but not in a row. I wash my face every so often. I wash my hair twice a week but I have to wash it more often because Im starting to grow it out.

Yes and no?

I'm kinda OCD when it comes to cleanliness. I shower twice a day. I can not go to bed without showering because I despise the idea of getting into bed dirty, and I shower the first thing in the morning when I get up, I just feel dirty without it.
I wash my hands constantly, not like OCD where they will wash 15 times in a row to 'get clean' but probably at least 15 times throughout the day, anytime i feel like i got something on it.

I dont wash my hair every day, 3-4 times a week maybe?
I use ordinary soap and off the shelf shampoo/conditioner. Nothing crazy or over-priced garbage.

I dont shave often though =P. My facial hair just doesnt grow fast, it takes me 2 days to get a five oclock shadow. So I get lazy with it, will usually shave once a week.
I'm also kinda lazy with my hair. I'll let it get a few inches long before I bring myself to going to get a haircut. I completely loathe the idea of using product like grease and gells, I just hate the feeling of it and am convinced it just cant be good for your hair follicles. So when it gets like 2 inches it starts to get shaggy.

So I think yes in that I am very clean and pretty anal about it, but no in that I can look scruffy and unkempt at times :P

i have a body that does not sweat much at all.
my friends are surprised at my lack of sweat.

on very hot days i remain dry except for my face. my forehead sometimes sweats but only in extreme circumstances.

i never have any smell about me because i am not very sexual and hairy and i do not have that animalistic musky exuberance through my skin like sweaty people do.

i am quite sterile. but i shower every afternoon at 5:30pm to wash the day off my skin.

during the day i may have gone to the supermarket and touched things that are dirty, so i must wash all remnants of my day off my body at 5:30 pm.

i do it at that time because it takes ages for my hair to dry (2 hours) and if i want to lie down i cannot until my hair is dry.

but i never really want to lay down until about 3am anyway, but at least i have no "outside world" germs on me after my wash.

i think if i never showered again, that no one would ever smell any scent from me.

i do never feel moist in my shoes or under my arms like some people say they do.

i hate the biological smell of people if i sense any smell.

if i get a "whiff" of bodily exudate from anyone i will gag and it is just disgusting and i am so glad i do not sweat like people with lots of testosterone. apparently there is bacteria that is responsible for the rancid smell in people's sweat. good grief.

i like to be at a distance from unclean people that invade my olfactory senses with their presence.

I like b9's take on clean.

My goal is to not smell like anything. I hate when I can smell other people, whether it be sweat or perfume/cologne. If my nose is more than like 6"s from your skin and I can smell you, it bothers me =P Dont care of its good or bad.

I always go for very mild smelling soap and pretty basic shampoo to avoid having to smell it on me, use unscented deoderant too. My new favorite thing i've found recently is this body moisturizer with the perfect scent. Not too strong, but if you were to come close and smell it, it just smells really fresh and clean, not like it was intentionally scented. Fresh water cucumber. Yep, cucumber. It just has a really clean smell that is not over powering.

When it comes to the body, it's good! I never ever get sick because of bad routines or similiar. I usually wash every day and after I've been out in the woods for a while I'll take a quick shower afterwards without soap, just to fresh myself up.

I'm not too extreme when it comes to hygiene, because I know that it's actually bad for the body if you're too extreme. The body has a natural immune system which is supposed to be able to handle things and if it's never get's in contact with anything it get's lowered down, to what I have understood.

Wiki about the immune system
(I haven't finished reading it myself, yet...)

I'm very hygenic, I shower (and wash my hair) daily and I wash the key parts of the body twice (e.g. armpits and gentials).

Yep, I always use soap and I wash twice all over. I like a bath every day. I've found a really nice unscented soap, but they don't call it soap. The box calls it 'Sorbolene Moisturising Bar', which is pretty confusing imo. :? I also use plain sorbolene cream to moisturise.
I find it better because my skin itches with scent and I don't like smelling strong perfume. A bonus is that unscented soap can clean you better.
My shampoo has a little bit of smell though, and my deodorant is a bit overpowering. Next time I might choose a plain one.

I don't leave the house until I'm washed, dressed, teeth cleaned, hair brushed and tied back, and deodorant on. Other than that cleanliness though I can look rather casual. But I must be clean, the smell of sweat turns my stomach and I can't stand people who don't wash. Ugh. During the day I feel dirty, like I'm covered in an invisible film and I need to scrub it off in hot water.

It seems inconsistent, but I will wear a pair of jeans a few times. However clean clothes are nice and I like to put fresh on. ^_^
