I've a bad feeling that L.A. is going to kicked Dallas out of division contention later in the season.

For me, all it took was for me to complain about 3 unanswered/unreturned phone calls about wheelchair and companion tickets for my kid. I think they probably realized the seats weren't going to sell so they gave us the tickets figuring they'd get us for parking and beer for Dad. :)[/quote]

I am lucky and get all my free tickets from my sister-in-law. She is a promotions manager at a radio station. So she always has different freebies and if people don't pick up there prizes she gives them out. I just found out my tickets are suite tickets so that should be fun.

Also bothe the Coyotes and the Leafs won last night!

Awesome, awesome time at the Sharks-Islanders game yesterday!! Snowtober!! First snow in the NYC area in October since the Civil War and we drove through the heart of the storm to get there. One area we drove through got 15.3 inches from the Nor'easter ... even leaving super early (we live WAAAY upstate), we thought we might not make it in time for the start of the game but we pulled into the arena in plenty of time as it turned out.

And the game itself was great. Pavs and Coutore scored in regulation for the Sharks and then Burns had the game-winner in OT. Five wins in a row now for the Sharks! Hadn't been to the Nassau Colliseum for a game in about 27 years ... but it was exactly as I remembered.

Very memorable day. :D

Last nights game was fun. Overtime wins are always fun. My kids enjoyed there first game and have been running around the house howling like Coyotes. This has made today a little less enjoyable.

WHY CAN'T MY FLYERS FIND A NUMBER ONE GOALIE !?!?

Aaarrrggghhhh!! !! Any comments?? Ideas?? How can one team have such horrible judgement in goalies for so long?? How can they have let up 5? :wall:
Thanks for allowing my rant, I feel a bit better now.

Bryzgalov was good for the Coyotes last year until the playoffs. Once there he stunk the place up. Hopefully he can improive a little bit for your Flyers.

Thanks for the encouragement...tonight's score: Flyers 9; Blue Jackets 2
33 saves for Bryzgalov. :)
Does anyone else think this smiley looks like Sideshow Bob??? :geek:

I can see the resemblance.

I wanted to brag about how great the Leafs have been playing and than last night happened. 7-0 loss to the Bruins. At least the Coyotes won last night.

While I was thrilled to see the Bruins play so well, I was bummed it was at the expense of Ben Scrivens. Watched Scrivens play many-a-game in goal at my almost-mater Cornell over the last several years. BTW, the Big Red are off to a 1-2 start for the year.

Nice to see that Michael Ryder is working out so far for your Stars. But I still hate Ribeiro with every bone in my body from his days with the Canadiens.

I wouldn't blame you, faking injuries is a big pet peeve of mine for athletes.

Anyways, Dallas' next game is against Washington Capitals. :x

I can't stand when players do that. It's yet another reason why I truly DISLIKE Crosby. My hubby and I used to make submarine noises whenever he was announced..."Whoop, Whoop, Dive, Dive..."
