I surf. My stepdad's dad re-married later in life and the woman he was with and he had 2 children, both girls, and so one of my aunt's is only a couple years older than me(25, I'm 23) and she flys me out to Hawaii a lot cuz she has the hots for me and we go surfing a lot. Honolulu is beautiful out in the surf in the beginning of fall.

EDIT: Shes out there on a grant, cuz shes a marine biologist.

4 - 6ft of NE swell is what you want down here... its bigger now and its good... hopefully the swell sticks around long enough to get the best of both worlds... big slabs and playful beachies... :D

This is what i found yesterday... a friend and myself indulged in this for about 4 hours... ive never actually seen this bank work before... it was so much fun... we were actually going to leave this for a wave called pink rocks... where it was a good double overhead barrel monster... but a phone call from a friend said we would be sharing it with 50 people... so we decided to stay and spend a day of a rare swell on a rare little beachie... which also had barrels :D

Sick Dingo looks like you scored big time. I love surfing with no crowds. Keep your spot a secret if your generous and tell some people before you know your spot will get swamped. Its been so long since Ive surfed I miss it so bad.

Yeah it was sick... less people the better... that wave is actually really popular in the summer as it picks up all the NE swell like a magnet... but it takes a really really really big E-SE swell to get this little left working and not many people know that the potential is there...

but otherwise everywhere on the south coast looks like this now:

Image

mid day check today... that swell is well and truly gone...

What did Mark Occolupo say when someone knocked on the bathroom door while he was taking a dump?

"It's OCCYpied".

And what did the Italian surfer say when he got caught inside at The Bay on the North Shore?

Why-a-me-a?
