I'm calling it now Purdue Boilermakers = National Champs this year. Our starting line up JJ at C, Hummel F, Etwaun G, Crazy Crammer G, and Grant G. On the bench PG Jackson, Hart G, Byrd G, Barlow, and Bade at F. If JJ gains some weight (240 lbs), Hummel improve his back, Grant improves his 3 pt shooting, and the incoming freshmen big men also step up. We should claim the Big Ten tilte and get a 1 seed. The Big Ten is full of talent this year and great recruiting classes coming in.

I have to disagree with you since any mid-majors school can easily derailed your pick. I have my faith in Mason and Coach Jim Larragana since we are a true giant slayers of major schools. Michigan State, North Carolina and UCONN got cocky in 2006 when playing Mason and Mason pull the upset. Picking Purdue is being overcocky to be honest.

They have to win the Wolverines or Spartans first in Big Ten if they ever want a bid.

Mason bro are you kidding me. Your conference is weak besides VCU you have no competition. Don't get me wrong i was rooting for you in the previous tourneys. Purdue has a much better shot than Mason. Duke and kansas will be tough to beat. It is obvious that both of us hardcore stubborn fans.

True True but the CIT winners of 2009 is ODU so the CAA is a tough mid-major conference. Purdue has to deal with Michigan State and the rest of the Big Ten. Mason has less to worry about within the CAA but we have challenges as well. VCU is no longer in it prime since Grant and Maynor left. Plus Gwynn transferred out VCU because Grant leaving. Plus remember anything is possible in March.

Haha. As long as a Big Ten school wins the championship (esp. the Wolverines, though he Spartans would most likely make it big), I don't care what had happened.

But yeah, I hope for a Mason breakthrough to keep me interested... for good mid-major teams.

That would be a good time to play the Wildcats... they don't start their seasons strong, but always finish up that way.

^It is a rumor but that should be an interesting game to watch. In March, who knows will win it all. I am looking at 2010 as a similar stage like 2006 with UNC as defending champs, Indy is the location of the Final Four, Michigan State and UCONN among the '09 Final Four. It is a season worth to watch all the way through.

Do I followed other teams?

Yes but not as much as Mason.

My parents' Alma Mater, Illinois State University of the Valley Conference (MVC Missouri Vally Conference) (Also had a very good undefeated streak until conference play) (Beat Creighton in MVC Semifinals but lose Northern Iowa in finals [Creighton was forced into the NIT by Illinois State Redbirds])

My sister's Alma Mater, University of Washington (In Seattle) of the Pac-10 conference (Won regular season title in 2008-2009 season)

Actually Washington is the only major conference school I followed

Illinois State is a mid-major school and I do follow a bit Navy in the Patriot League (Also mid-major)
