I like tap water but well water is a real treat. Naturally filtered, with vitamins and minerals.

I finally got a Brita filter now and love it. My city's tap water isn't really great, but it's compounded by bad plumbing in my house, that makes it so, say, if the dishwasher is on, you turn on cold water and it'll come out hot for a few seconds, so I'd have to leave it running for like 10 seconds to make sure it's OK. Apparently it's backflowing from the dishwasher. Yay. So yeah, now I only drink filtered tap water. It was like pulling teeth to get my mom to buy a Brita pitcher, I finally found a used one for like $1.50 at Goodwill, and then threw the filter in the cart at Walmart. She thinks nothing of spending $40 a month on bottled water, but wouldn't buy a filter forever. Before the filter, I'd drink the nasty tap water, with ice, and copious amounts of lemon juice (bottled, real lemons for that are too expensive.)

I drink tap water cause it's easiest.
I have to have something in it- powdered tea mix, for example- or else, I gag.
But that's the same with all water.

I tend to drink tap water as my city's water usually does well in studies about water systems and taste.

I really like my filtered water. Tap is quite alright for the time being that I don't have a filter, due to a recent experience.

Interesting little instance that happened to me today: I had some already opened bottled water, left out with the cap screwed on, in a warm room for a day. I forgot about it... Today, I open it up and smell inside, I can usually smell if water has gone a little bad, and to my surprise the inside smells like something that reminded me of sour feet! Hmm, so much for purified water being clean and fresh! It smelled like a hobo had dipped their feet in it while I was asleep. Needless to say, I will not be drinking anymore purified hobo foot water.

I have one of those tap-mounted water filters, though I haven't changed the filter in a while. I normally just fill a reusable container and then refrigerate it. As long as it's covered, the taste does not go off and it doesn't destroy the environment like bottled water does. Since I don't drink soda, I go through a lot of it.

i've found that even brita-filtered water gets slimy after about a week in the fridge. so that is why i keep using bottled water. i can't deal with slimy water.

The water will go slimy quicker if the chlorine is removed from it, one of the reasons why tap water has chlorine (or similar) added to it.

Brita recommend that filtered water is used within one or two days. The jug should be completely emptied and then refilled.

I always drink tap water. The entire bottled water industry is a big scam.

I drink filtered tap; the area I currently live in is still having issues from the pollution of the great mills. But back in my hometown in Texas, the taps were just wonderful. A good mineral taste. But not all the cities had such great water. :P

I drink tap water, I don't think there's much difference unless you're a paranoid conspiracy theorist and think the government controls us through tap water, etc.

The tap water over here is 50% germs, 49% chalk and only 1% water, so no, I prefer bottled water.
