Looking Muscular-Why do it?
I don't wanna hijack the thread or derail it anything.
I lifted to get stronger to try and join the army I was your typical tooth pic who couldn't do more than ten push ups with out panting for breath. Now well, I know am bigger and my strength is quite good for my size. I eat relatively healthy too but I eat too much junk to get real results.
Although I started to lift it's quickly became my confidance builder, I feel alot more comfortable saying my opinion when I know I'm physicaly not a whimp and that I can take my shirt off knowing I look better than most lads who don't work out.
As a note in the UK, or at least in the Arse hole of Scotland where I live finding a gym laid out to do Olympic lifts is impossible, the two close to me are aimed at Isolation exercises, Sure I can take the bar outta the rack but there's not enough space to safely attempt them.

anyway....two things occurred..and is my special interest. today at costco for me.
first was at the mozzarella sticks sample station. Two guys were discussing the fact that the samples were going quick and saying someone must have eaten them all. I made a joke that it was me(and partly it was lol) one of the guys said ''noone's gonna argue with you'' while the other guy didnt say anything but agreed
second situation was that one of the newer samplers called me over and asked if i work security. she said m dad and i remind her of these security guards from home depot and we walk back and forth like they do.
another mini situation was a girl asked my diet .
this is 40 percent why i look muscular. The other 60 is because it makes me feel damn proud..
