No, I can't throw a ball.

But I can hook a slipper around a corner, blind, and peg a misbehaving kid in the back of the head in the kitchen when I'm in the livingroom and can't get up at the moment. ;-)

I completely suck at throwing a ball. Catching a ball is just as bad. I have to tell people constantly not to toss things to me such as keys. I was always chosen last for ball games.

I can't do the "wrist flick" thing when throwing a ball, I can never coordinate the arm and wrist movement properly.

I'm pretty good at catching things thrown over short distances though, and even catching items I've dropped or knocked over. For catching something being thrown across a room, I found the trick is to relax and not even try to make a move until the item has reached the top of it's ark. Somehow, I'm then able to reach out my hand and catch the item.

I'm not good but the only time I did that or any ball related sports was in PE. I have low vision & bad fine motor-skills so I just kind of stood around when playing ball sports.

I've never been great with ball throwing sports. I'm often better throwing with the left had despite being right handed. Often still... A ball would still find itself going straight down rather than going where intended.

Oh, I can throw it. It's just getting not to miss the target by five miles that's the problem. I heard some people can't hit the broad side of a barn. I couldn't hit the side of The Great Wall of China. :P

I can throw a ball but unfortunately I'm unable to give any direction to it.

As a kid I could not throw a ball, catch a frisbee or throw it,took forever to learn how to jump a rope, never played HORSE with a basketball, hated PE.Bit I did like tennis, never had a good back hand, pong pong, badminton, and mumbly peg(where you throw a knife at the ground and try to stick the blade in), and I played on the soccer team one year,I can kick a ball.Hated baseball, was good at volley ball.
The way I learned to hit something with whatever I'm throwing,is don't think about it,just throw on instinct.
