i got two boards that i ride... a semi-fish (6'2"x19.5"x2.5") for small waves (1-2ft) and a firewire flexfire (6'0"x18 1/2" x 2 3/16") for anything bigger (up to solid 5ft... some might call it 6ft).

loooove the flexfire! maintains a lot more speed through turns due to the flex.

thinking about getting a semi-gun... for a trip to indo.

how about yourself?

Hey, I'm from southern California and I love to surf. I'm 15 and I've been surfing since I was 5. I mostly surf here in CA, or I go to the north shore of Oahu about once a year.

I got Webber shortboard (6'1 x 18 1/4 x 2 3/16) its a good all around board for waist to head high +. I have not rode it in 3 months bc of no waves :x . However, I'm going to Puerto Rico, in 3 weeks, I'm hoping for some clean stuff. Indonesia thats sweet man I want to go there as well. Have you seen any of the coverage from the US Open. They had a massive swell roll through a couple days ago. Slater the floridian like myself is representing hahahah.

hell yeh he rips! if you get a chance grab his dvd - just add water. it's a good biographical account of his life. i reckon the footage in the young guns vids is good too.

gets me amped. crazy airs indeed 8O 8O 8O

puerto rico sounds good. heard costa rica has some mad tropical reef set ups too. but yeh, indo should be sweet... its home to some of the best waves in the world. also thinking about hitting up samoa as it isn't nearly as crowded.... PNG and the solomon islands too...

Haven't seen footage from US open... where was it held? saw a bit of the J-Bay pro... Gold Coast local Joel Parkinson won... making it 3 from 5 this year - that Aussie is on fire! Slats isn't having the greatest year.... something like 4 aussies in the top ten though 8) heh heh heh

I saw "just add water" last night it was epic. The dude is so similar to me. I've got a lot of respect for him. Surfers healing is a great organization.

yeh, its one of my fave surf flicks. particularly because it gives an accurate picture of AS and the footage is pretty madcore. i give a bit of money to surfer's healing. it would be good to something similar in aus.

yeh should be good. the forecasts have been revised downwards a bit - 4ft+ but should be good. on top of that its meant to be a bit warmer than usual for the rest of the week. winter temps of 24-25C. gotta love that!

i reckon we should plan an aspie surf trip. whattdya reckon? indo's looking pretty cool... or hawaii, or anywhere in the south pacific.

25C is unheard of for winter here your lucky nice waves warm water. I just checked the forecast for the east coast of FL we are getting a nice swell this upcoming weekend (4 to 6 footers) from a storm coming off of africa and 29C soo warm haha.

That would be sick man. We should def do it. I'm kinda of tight on cash now but as soon as December or January would work. Any where would be tight I've always wanted to go to Hawaii. It's cheap for me to fly to anywhere in central america like (Costa Rica or Panama).
