if you wanna gain weight, 'tis better to gain Muscle weight rather than fat weight, and to do that you need to increase your healthy protein [and healthy fats for energy] intake combined with more weight-bearing exercise esp. of the larger muscle groups. this will take a while but it is a time-tested method of gaining weight the healthy way. whatever you do, do NOT increase your carb intake. :idea:

You do gain muscle by eating carbs too. Not a lot, but a small amount.
