I did read that somewhere in the East End (Stratford) will be the location of the Olympic Park, Stadium, Village and some venues. Does anyone know what that area is like?

I'm very excited about it! I would love to go to London for the 2012 Olympics. I would love to meet Roger Bannister in person. He is my inspiration, because he succeeded and excelled against the odds.

I will go, only under one condition. The Routemasters have to be back on London's streets. :lol:

Just so no one even begins to get panicky about an alleged 2012 end-of-the-world, that isn't what the Mayans were predicting (it isn't even a full rollover to all 0's!). Paradigm shift, yes. End of all things, no (that's scheduled for 4273).

The Games are expected to cost over £9 BILLION!! ! ($18 BILLION). These had better be the best games ever!!
