Nope, I don't exercise. I'm a lazy bum.

i have no motivation to exercise on my own, at all. i have to end up paying a personal trainer so that i am forced to keep my appointments. i don't enjoy it, but my health is imporving. i went from being unable to walk up to my 4th floor office (the elevators are insanely slow) without getting totally winded to being able to run 2 miles in about 20 minutes. YAY ME! and i'm sleeping better and have more energy in general.

This is AWESOME!

I used to run (jog) in the Winter through snow drifts and it felt good. Now I get winded from going from a sittting-in-a-chair position to a standing position. It's awful. I have to get motivated!

The only exercise that I won't get bored with is something that involves intellectual and social stimulation as well... but sadly, nothing has come along where I can do all 3 at the same time! Since right now my need for people to talk to is greater than my need for physical exercise, that's what I'm doing; that's why I'm here. :)

I do alot of hiking, and I try to hike up mountains whenever possible and I am in the high peaks area. I also have a physically intensive job.

It's one of my rigid routines.

30-60 minutes of cardio no less than 4x per week. Usually it's treadmill, but rollerblading and Tae Bo make their way into the mix as well.

I used to train people full time, now I train only a few clients and I'm going to go full time again within a year, so I have to walk the talk. I train every day in the gym, cardio and weights, and I do a mini workout/warm up in the morning after I meditate, so if I can't get to the gym that day, at least I did something.
I never train with a partner. I'd be like "fcuk you, I know what I'm doing". To me, exercising is a great stabilizer and a constant in my life. It's wonderful to be connected with your body and to understand it better everyday. Your body truly has an intelligence that merits to be explored. It's an amazing instrument that will obey you if you treat it right.

Ride bike, jump on trampoline with handweights..goof around with pilates ball....it has been a while though since I have been able to adhere to a routine...but I have in the past when my life was more conventionally structured.

When I worked in an office, I would religously go power walking with hand weights in the subdivision behind the building where I worked...as a result, I actually lost weight while watching my young, healthy co-workers get fat and the older sicker ones (LITERALLY) die of diabetes related illness.
The management in my office had a sort of sick way of stuffing the employees with sugar and fat...the repo guys regularly brought in a huge sour cream cake and set it down in the same room as the elderly collectons guy (who had diabetes and eventually died) There were also a couple of sorry looking pieces of fruit put out...When there wasn't that, there was pizza, or doughnuts, or a big palate of assorted danishes from the wholesale mega mart...
It was really sick to observe..
I had a dark theory that the management wanted to kill off the elderly employees before they could retire and have a pension.

Sorry for rambling...just wanted to impress the importance of some kind of exercise...I guess

I walk every day (except saturday and sunday) from home to colllege and back, and then I walk again to college for my afternoon classes, and back to home inthe night.

I'm not allowed to drive a vehicle, so I have to walk an hour in a day. that's all my excercise :)

I've done martial arts for about seven years now, just recently got black belt, so now I teach. I joined a new Shotokan class as a student to keep in shape and learn something new. It is hard!! I've been sick for the last two days, missed my class last night, and ate a bunch of junk food. tasted good at the moment, but now I feel guilty  Hopefully, I will feel better tommorow in time for kickboxing class. :) I obsess about my weight, so I have to work out or I will get fat, I'm an emotional eater.

In addition to cycling, my job is physically demanding. I wrap and load windows at a factory.
