So far the Giants have done the 2 things they needed to do: run the ball and pressure Brady. On the first half's evidence I think the Pats are going to edge it but this is still wide open.

I thought the first half was boring...the second half was when it picked up.

And I was the only one at my parents' friends' part who wasn't moping when the Pats lost. :P I don't know..I guess I'm not a real sports fan.

The reffing was fair.

The Patriots were just overconfident when they thought it was going to be a cake against someone they already beat in the regular season.

Funny how the Pats fans think the officiating is horrible now...forget it, last night was a perfectly average performance by NFL officiating standards. Sure thye got some calls wrong but this was nowhere near as bad as the Super Bowl XL crew.

I thought the reffing was ok... the Pats were on enough to win, but that busted Giants play on their final touchdown drive made the difference. Most times such a play spells disaster, but the surprise completion sealed the Pats fate.

I do vow this, though... I am NEVER, NEVER, NEVER going to tape a sporting event again! I'm the real reason the Pats lost... if I hadn't tried to save the game for posterity, this never would have happened, and the game would have been worth saving.

you know. .confidence can be corrosive.

when you think you are going to go all the way, when you have tasted the victory champagne in your mind, when you already see yourself in that open car in the parade with all the confetti floating down and the cheers of the crowd. . . well, you are just setting your self up for a fall.

cause that means you aren't hungry enough, anymore. and someone else who is ravenously hungry will come and feast upon the flesh and bones of your dreams.

hurray for the hungry!

Rubbish! The Giant defense was awesome. Yes, they were hungry, and they ate Tom Brady for dinner! Ha! It's the greatest Giants victory ever! Roll on Big Blue!

This Super Bowl was even better than 1990 against the Bills. No one gave them a chance then either. "Jim Kelly will throw 3 touchdown passes in the first quarter and the Giants will run the ball and get trounced." We won that game by playing Giant football. (Guess who was the defensive coordinator for that game.) It was classic Giant football last night too.

The pass to Plaxico on an all-out blitz was a work of art. Aaron Boone? How can you compare a lucky swing of the bat with a sustained 80 yard drive? Not to mention the near perfection Eli had in the playoffs. Brady threw 3 picks in the AFC championship and suddenly everyone is surprised. The playoffs are all about who's playing the best during the playoffs. And the team playing the best won. Go G-Men! :D
