I started running a few years ago, mostly as a way to shed some weight. After awhile, I converted to trail-running, and now I do it for the therapy. Also, I'm running my first ultra-marathons this year. Awesome.
SoccerFreak, runners high doesn't usually start to happen until the seven or eight mile range, if at all.
ahayes, I have a low blood sugar problem as well, but have done a number of things work through it. With training and proper fueling, most problems can be overcome if you have the desire.
