Concussions are bad news. My favorite player Patrice Bergeron is probably only one or two head shots away from the end of his career. I was watching the game on TV against the Flyers a few years back when Randy Jones took him out. I thought his career might have been over then and there ... how great it was to see him not only come back (twice now), but to also score the Stanley Cup winning goal this past June.

I'm certainly no fan of the Flyers, but I don't like to see any player's career end with a concussion. So I hope Pronger makes it back to the ice.

Did anyone see that sick goal Kane made in the shootout?
That was some insane stick handling, I couldn't keep up with it lol.

I felt so dirty after watching Kane completely undress the Minnesota goalie with that stick handling.
I know Kane is a great, but that was embarrassing.
What was embarrassing about it? I thought it was pretty sweet :?

Anyways the Pens better get Letang and Michalek back on ice soon. Hopefully Crosby too, but I'm more worried about the defensemen being off the ice because that's what has been causing them to take a couple losses lately. They need to stay healthy for sure. I've been hearing some good updates on Michalek, but it sounds really bad for Letang.

There was not anything embarrassing about, it just a sweet goal. 8)

@GreyGirl: Concussions are serious thing in both the NHL and NFL, but the NHL is doing alot better off. Players are trying to self-police themselves, while it's taking the NFL players a little longer.

Oh ok the rolling eyes just confused me lol.

As for concussions, they definitely need to lose the head shots. In this day and age where we are all aware of how serious concussions are, it would be ridiculous not to address it.

As of right now, the Bruins have scored the most goals of any team in the NHL this season (119) and given up the fewest (63).

Just sayin' ...

You're playing against the Panthers though...
Dallas just managed to get by, we had three goals in the first period. We let Nashville back in the game with penalties, but we won 6-3. We're now the first team in the Pacific division to get twenty wins for the season. :)

I know it's hard to wrap the mind around, but Florida is actually good this year. Leading the Southeast Division by a bunch. Also only one of two teams to outright beat Boston since the beginning of November. 8O

I'm trying to go to a game this Christmas break with my dad. So far the next three teams we play are Columbus, St. Louis, and Boston. 8O I saw last night's game, and although not every seat was taken it was still nice to see alot of people went to the game.
Also I don't know what to say about our backup Goalie Bachman, maybe this guy is unreal? :)

lol doesn't surprise me at all since they got 7-0 on the Leafs and 6-0 on the Flyers. The Flyers game did surprise me though, I didn't expect them to win by a landslide at all.

Pittsburgh seems pretty inconsistent so far this year. Win a few, lose a couple. Still right near the top of the Division and could be real dangerous if they get healthy. I'm going to be seeing my Penguins fanatic cousin tonight. Any intel I could use against her would be appreciated. :)

I don't know, Pittsburgh seems to do okay without Crosby. :? I just wonder with Crosby out... again, will he ever return back to the ice?

p.s. I'm going to the Blue Jackets game that is coming up. I'm so excited! :)

Enjoy the game! Nothing like going to an NHL game.
