It was worth it, but it would have been a lot better if the Stars won. Their offense is what hurt them the most, they had several powerplays, and couldn't get even one. Sometimes I think they play too much defense, and don't take advantage on powerplays.
I know the feeling. Since my stepson took an interest in hockey sometime around 2003, we've seen our teams lose almost as frequently as we've seen them win. IIRC, the Bruins are 4-3 in games we've been to and the Sharks are 3-2. It's always a different feeling when your team wins than when they lose. But I've learned not to attach my feelings to the outcome of a sports event I can't control. Had an absolute blast the last time I saw the Bruins in October ... and they lost 1-0. Didn't score a goal. Not much you can do about it as a spectactor. The beer tasted good and the company was great.
Hope it's your first of MANY experiences at live NHL games. Cheers.
I'm not that emotionally attached to the Stars winning or losing, but I do care when they win. I'm upset when they lose games they could've won. I just looked up the scores, and Dallas won against Boston?
How do you lose to Columbus, but win against Boston?
