I was wondering where you used to live, you don't have to name the city. A providence will be fine. 8)

I used to live Nova Scotia. I actually am from Cole Harbour which is the same town as Sidney Crosby. I remember hearing how good he was when he was about 12. I guess since I moved they've put up a big sign of him for when people drive into the town.

I would think so, after what he has done for the NHL.

And not just what he did for the NHL. The overtime goal to win the gold medal was one of the great moments in Canadian hockey history.

Yeah I know, I remember watching it on my tv. I also remember waiting through three hours or so of cross-country sking to watch the game, because I didn't want to miss it.

Thanks, I needed that. I was feeling wicked self-conscious about it ... which I know sounds weird coming from a guy who looks like he's about to throw a punch. :)

Jesus Christ with all these shutouts they've racked up they'll probably win the Stanley Cup once again.

Wow ... I just found out the NHL Players Association rejected the conference reallignment plan and it definitely won't be happening next year. 8O

NHLPA Rejects Reallignment

And in other news, the 'Nucks and Bruins are in the middle of a wild one in Boston ...

Yeah, I don't get it either. When I first heard of the reallignment plan, I thought it was a great idea. It had some flaws, but it was better than the one we've now. Overall with he NHL's CBA running out, I just hope we don't have another lockout coming because of this. The NHL was hurt really badly when the 04/05 lockout happened. * 8O *

The realignment made sense. I can't imagine this will lead to another lockout but you never know.
