Just finished watching the skills competition and am amazed at how hard Chara shoots the puck. It is amazing.

I can't say I am a fan of the way they pick the all star teams now. I wish it was still East vs. West.

It was on NBC sports. (forerly versus) Yesterdays All Star game was on NBC. It was an okay game. Typical NHL all star game with alot of goals. Think they are depleting everything from the weekend on the NHL network today.

Long weekend at work. Missed pretty much everything except a little of the skills competition after I got home Saturday night. Game is being replayed on the NHL Network at 3 PM today and the old Versus at 7 PM. Of course, the AHL All-Star game is tonight as well and I think my hockey buddy stepson is going to want to watch that ...

No wonder I didn't get to see it. I don't get Versus, or the NHL Network.

So happy the season is back underway. Bruins just wrapped up a nice, hard-fought, come-from-behind 4-3 win against the Senators. Winning goal was actually a fluke center ice shot by Dennis Seidenberg. Excellent intensity and a couple of good scraps as well by Shawn Thornton and Adam McQuaid. :D

Yeah, but it also means we're nearing the end too. Anyways, Dallas has Anaheim again, let's hope it turns out well like it it did last time they met. :) * with a Dallas win *

Dallas won 6:2! :) Next up is San Jose.

:x I can't believe the way we lost to Buffalo. A sudden death shootout goal, and we haven't won in Buffalo in over fourteen years. :x

Well, Buffalo kicked Boston's a** pretty good this week as well (6-0) ... so don't feel too bad. The Sabres are playing well at the moment.

So are the Blues, you can thank Ken Hitchcock for that. * St. Louis * 8)

And right on cue, the Blues shut out the Sharks (3-0) last night. :(

Los Angeles Kings beat Dallas 4:2. Oh, by the way, thank you Boston for Michael Ryder. The first 20 goal scorer for the Stars this year. :)

That tripped me the f**k out, when I first saw the score I thought it was the other way around 8O

Tonight, we face the Red Wings at the Joe. * facepalm * Right when the Red Wings are on a 20 home game winning streak.

Good luck with the Wings. I'm looking forward to seeing the Sharks (on TV) during their current East Coast swing. I usually watch their games the next day (or not at all) when they're playing out West. Nice win 5-3 against the Caps last night. San Jose owns Washington ... 15-1 against them over the last dozen years. :)

Ugh. Another shutout loss last night ... this time a 3-0 loss to the Rangers. I think the Bruins have the mid-winter blues.
