Any football fans here?

I don't really support a team in England but I do enjoy watching the FA Cup.
With results such as Leeds Utd defeated Manchester Utd 1-0, it's no wonder why people become interested in the FA Cup purely because of the upsets by lower division clubs over Premier League clubs.
Well, still a bit disappointed today over the Celtic v Rangers result. 1-1 draw and yet Celtic had a large percentage of possession and goal scoring chances.
The disallowed goal by Fortune should've been counted as a goal (not seeing it through green and white glasses either). How did Kyle Lafferty remained on the pitch after a dangerous tackle surprised me also.

Even though I'm rather disappointed, I'm not "that" shocked that Leeds won. I have a friend who is a Leeds fan, and from what I've seen/heard from them, they seem to have a side that would challenge for a top 6 place in the championship.
Out of interest, does anyone know the last side to get promoted twice in succession upto the Premiership? I think it was Man City (under Joe Royle) in 2001ish, but somethings telling me that another team might have done it since.
The FA cup is an amazing tournament. For me its not just the upsets by lower league teams, but the fact so many teams throughout the football pyramid have a chance of winning it. I used to go and watch my hometown football club up until a few years, who have to play about 4 matches just to qualify for the 1st round.. They're in the same league as Paulton Rovers who played Norwich City (who are 5 divisions above in League 1) earlier in the cup (granted, they did lose 7-0 at home), and just thinking a club of that size coming down to my hometown club is incredible

I meant to say about how other teams not in the Premier League have a good chance at playing against and even beating the top teams. I am not too good at saying everything specific, just the short facts so please forgive me there.

Don't worry, I knew what you meant

I was just expanding on the point saying that not only its great that there are regular upsets (like last weekend), but also that so many very very small teams have a chance of winning it (which would almost inevitably involve upsetting the big teams), and also if very very small teams get past the first few rounds, then they have a great chance of being on TV!
To be honest Im not very good at explaining things either, but hopefully it made some sort of sense

ps My reply wasn't specifically in response to your post only, it was more of a general post of why i felt the FA cup is such a great competition, and I was just agreeing, and expanding on the point that you made. Sorry for any confusion
