I always hated sports, never got the point.

I wanted to go to the gym but it was kind of scary figuring out the proper protocol and code of conduct there.
My man encouraged me to go a few months ago and I ended up really enjoying it. I love how you can be three feet away from someone else and not have to interact with them in any way. The physical activity makes me feel so much better for the rest of the day.

I really want to try yoga, but the prospect of all that female bonding and forced friendships would ruin it for me.

S, not so bad..in all the yoga classes I have been to, I never experienced more bonding than I wanted to with anyone. Most of my yoga teachers have been nice...most of the people in the classes didn't want to get too personal.

Um..what I am intimidated by are those little gyms just for women...like Curves...and there are a few indepedant ones around... I have never been to one..but they advertise a fun and social workout environment...which brings to mind the types of interractions that I would like to avoid.

I catch public transport, and I take a short walk up to the shops pretty much every day. I don't like gyms.

I carry my shopping home on foot, and I guess cleaning house counts. I still think I need more exercise though, I just can't think of any ways that I'll actually do it. :?

I ride my bike to work. I ride my bike home. I ride my bike to the store. I ride my bike to my Shrink. Sometimes I even get to ride my bike for work. Today, I ran over a copperhead snake. Crusha!

The exercise is just a side bonus. I ride for the alone time and leisure.
