I've never done the standard IQ test; it's not so much that I don't trust their reliability (although there's that, too), but that I simply can't figure out what exactly should I do about it, once I knew the score.

I reckon it's probably fairly decent, partly because of a few non-standard test that I did at school, and partly because I've never felt (or been told to be) particularly slow; but even if it turned out to be low, I'm not sure what should I do about it, either.

I have no idea. All I know is that I could read and tell time by age 3 (I could read at a 5th grade level in kindergarten) and by age 4 I memorized my multiplication tables through 12. So I guess I'm pretty smart. Either that, or most people are really dumb.

Most people are really dumb. Pity they run the world...

The last time I did an IQ test, I was a kid. 160+

Everyone went out of there way to make sure I wasn't disturbed - little did they know I was an aspie and didn't know they existed.

I did one by a psychologist about 11 or 12 years ago.

My mum and stepdad were told the result by the high school's counsellor, which I had only discovered about a month or two ago.

It was about 167.

The highest I ever scored on a real IQ test was 101. Pathetic. My mom said I tested at 140 once but I looked at my medical records and there ain't no 140 IQ score there. Everyone here is so much smarter than I am. On online tests I score much higher than the real ones, usually about 125 or something like that. But compared to you guys that is still nothing. On real IQ tests in the past I scored close to the mental retardation range like in the low 80's. I am dumb as dumb can be. Even teachers in middle school told me that I am not smart. That's the teachers talking! But I say the average human IQ is NOT 100, but rather in the negative range. Most humans are so dumb that it is funny. They don't think. How hard is it to go the speed limit while driving? Follow the signs people! Don't go 10 under in sunny or cloudy weather. I understand when it is snowing outside and there is ice on the street then go slow because you have to drive for the conditions. What about passing in no passing zones? How dumb is that?

That surprises me, KingdomOfRats. You sound much more intelligent than that in your posts. I wonder if maybe they didn't give you the right kind of IQ test?

My IQ is high.
Friend Philip is off the scale.
With him, I am dumb.

Around 130 I think but I haven't taken one in a few years. Though all that shows is I'm good at answering questions not much else my EQ probably quite low.

Anywhere between 120-135.

My strengths are literature and (surprisingly enough) spatial.

My weakness is math.

If I could by some miracle learn to understand fundamentals of mathematics, I could probably raise my score by about ten to thirty points, that's how low I score at math!

Don't worry, Brandon. I had to fail "remedial Arithmetic" THREE times to waiver the general Ed. credit to get my B.A. degree in college...But I did.

I have no idea. if I ever have taken an IQ test I don't know what was scored. I don't remember taking any IQ tests.

I do have a question however. How do we know the people that design professional IQ test are smart enough to test people who may be smarter than themselves in certain areas?

I got a 141. I'm not sure if it's good to go by IQ scores. Now the have the EQ score but it's not really taken seriously

Don't put too much emphasis testes.
