BOILER UP!

I look at the article then comments.

The article is somewhat bias if you ask because the title states ready to make final four when they cannot beat UCONN in Sweet Sixteen. Sorry but I think the Big Ten is between Michigan State and University of Illinois in my opinion. Also the comments point out the unlikely chance of making of a magic carpet ride will not happen.

Overall, the article has too cocky written all over it.

The comments are written by jealous Indiana University fans. IU will be dead last in the big ten. Michigan st please they lost sutan. Our team has got stronger physically in the offseason. Hummel played with a back injury our entire last season and is finally back to 100%. Hopefully grant improved his 3 pt shot. Recruiting class we are not loosing anyone. I use rivals according to them we have a solid class coming in. DJ Byrd plays just like krazy krammer. We have some size coming in as well with robinson. I just wish our nonconfernence schedule was more challenging. Hopefully we play someone tough in the wooden tradition. This is our year i feel it!

Jerry i dont mean to sound cocky. Our football team sucks this year haha but we are the best 1-5 team out there haha. Rebounding will determine if we are dancing this year. From reading the forums this year it looks like we are hungry for a title from the offseason preparation. It would be awesome if PU played mason this year. Then we could really talk smack about each others team haha. Good luck man.

Usually mid-majors are ranked low but my take is Mason is being underestimate since the loss of three starters plus another senior player seems bad. However, Mason has a good depth in its roster this year, with Morrison, Pearson and Cornelius as starters to replace the seniors from the 2008-2009 season. The seven freshman, two sophomore and one junior players Mason has add threats from the bench. Overall, Mason is a solid mid-major team that could easily set the game tempo when necessary.

I think Michigan State has a fair chance of making it into the Final Four.

Who knows is all I can say. Also I noticed a typo in my last post. Mason has 14 players in total, 7 are freshman (one being a rising freshman), 4 sophomore, 2 juniors and 1 senior.

The CAA taking on big name schools like UCONN, Kansas, Oklahoma, Villanova, Maryland, Wake Forest, Ohio State, Georgetown and more. Never underestimate the Colonial Athletic Association or the Connecticut Assassin Association (Larranaga's saying against UCONN)!

I have to disagree with the rankings since some of the teams in the Top 25 do not deserve ranked at all. No CAA team ranked at this time but it is pre-season after all.

Ya those rankings dont mean jack. Kansas will be tough and deserve the number 1 spot. 5 teams in the top 25 big ten representing. Illini should be ranked there too. Tough compettion will help our seeding and preparing us for the big dance.

BS to VCU and ODU because VCU is done for without Anthony Grant and Eric Maynor. ODU being the CIT champs make sense but niether of them are playing a Final Four Participant like Mason is (Villanova in the opening round of the Puerto Rico Tip Off).
