anytime I lost weight, I have extersized alot and ate moderately. But right now I am in a bind cuz I have feet problems and cant afford a bike or a gym, so I am going to physical therapy for plantar facitis which is inflexable tendon on the bottom of the foot which causes alot of pain. But it has gotten so hot that mom does not want to take me for physical therapy. So they gave me a stretch board for my feet. I been making progress, hopefully, I will be on my treadmill soon and losing weight. Anytime I have dieted, I have actually gained weight than lost it, but just eating ballanced regular meals with plenty of exterize helps me alot.

For those who do everything, and still cant lose weight, sounds like the thyroid
there are other thyrpoid problems that cant be found with your basic thyroid test, so you should go to an endrocrinoligist (sp) instead of just a primary care doctor to find out if you have any thyroid problems that contribute to your weight.

weight through the middle is very hard to get off, but will come off with a lower simple carb consumption. Alot of stress also plays a big role in weight through the middle.

This should interest you. "I always hear eat less and exercise more. Yet people are getting fatter and sicker". "It's not working" We need to look more at the individual and not be so cookie cutter when it comes to weight loss and health."

do NOT reduce your calories. 2000 a day is what most women need.

reduce your carbs, eat nothing that isn't whole and organic. eat plenty of healthy fat too.

look up nutritional typing as well.

it doesn't matter how much i eat. a carb diet will make me fat. a fat diet will make me lean. a low calorie diet will waste away muscle and that's it. you don't want to lose weight, you want to lose fat. they just happen to go hand in hand some times.

also, look into intermittent fasting.

Not necessarily true.
