Cinderella team possibilities:
Portland State
George Mason
Utah State
Vermont
Davidson
Wake Forest
North Carolina

Last tournament, I remember Davidson was the Cinderella,
before being knocked out in the Top Twelve.
So, I added them for good measure.

There is no top twelve in a field of 64 teams. It goes like so 1st Round, 2nd Round, Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight and the Final Four. Also Wake Forest and UNC are major conference teams where the term Cinderella does not suit them because of their powerhouse status and they usually get pretty far in the tournament which everyone except anyway.

^Villanova (Big East) mention in here^

Dude the Pac-10 belongs to Washington and Mason went undefeated at home for the first time along clinching the 2nd Seed in the CAA Championships.

The Big South is almost due with their conference championship. Radford and VMI will duel it out for auto bid into the Big Dance.

Well OSU got beat by Stanford in the lst round of Pac-10 2009 Tourney. Stanford will face Confernce Regular Season Champs, Washington.

Robert Morris win the NEC Auto Bid that makes 10 auto bids out already. Cornell was the first team into Big Dance because Ivy League's Regular Season Champ at end of season get the auto bid (kind of weak since they should try to fight for it instead).

And for those wondering what are the ri rankings here is a link for it.

Portland State won the Auto Bid from the Big Sky though how the game ended during a timeout makes no sense there at all. Also Oregon is getting slaughtered by Washington State (even if they can pull an upset, they are easy picking for UCLA tomorrow).

UVA had the highest SOS (Strength of Schedule) in the Nation of 0.6134 yet they will not be in the big dance since their RPI ranking is 109

Mason (55) and VCU (50) were both in the 50's in RPI but their SOS ranking were 115 (VCU) and 116 (Mason)

Since the CAA was a one bid, Mason who has the second highest RPI ranking will more than likely be invited to the NIT along with ODU. CBI will invite Hofstra over Northeastern and Drexel due to overall record and other stats.
