Purdue Boilermakers= Paradise Jam Champs! Close game vs Tennessee but we did work even with JJ only playing 11 mins the entire game. Etwaun Moore is a baller. Up to number 6 in the polls. Next week number 5 bc MSU choked vs FL. Way to make the big ten look bad haha. I knew they were overrated. Next up Wake Forest. Our starting 5 can compete with anyone just got to keep giving our bench more playing time and we will be a force come march.

The season is still young and losses can happened anyday against any school. Also Purdue might just stay put because Michigan State did loss to Florida however they can remain in their spot. Also calling the Spartans overrated at this time means you are overrated as well since what comes around goes around. I would not be celebrating since Wake Forest could beat you.

Mason is 3-3 after a loss on the road opener but I believe we can rebound when we play at GW who suffered their first loss to Oregon State Beavers (Fear the Beaver).

Hanging tough with an extremely athletic team like UT proves a lot. You are right Wake will be a test. Home court and the paint crew will help us squeak it out. Michigan St lost Suton I dont think people realize how much presence he created inside last yr. My prediction they finish 3rd or fourth in the big ten. Purdue, OSU, then MSU. I know its early and i know im cocky haha. Alabama, and West Virginia will also be real tough for us.

6% from 3 pt range = horrible. Our D once again won us that game vs wake. If purdue's shots start falling look out. Jerry hows Mason been looking?

Well we suffered two losses on the road. A big loss to GW last night 69-44. It is a long season so anything is possible.

I have some good news. Mason Women Basketball is 5-2 since they just beat High Point at home! 5-0 at home! They just tied the school record and are doing better than the men team at this time.

Great! Wolverine women basketball is 5-2 as well. Just beat VT Hokies 71-51. Not bad.

For every Mason post, I feel compelled to neutralize it with a dose of Wolverine coverage. Though I like the Mason teams, I really love the Wolverines slightly more for the time being. :)

Mason Men Basketball did something that has not happen in 25 years beating UNC-Wilmington two times straight. Women Basketball is taking on Saint Joseph's of Atlantic 10 at Saint Joseph's at 2pm in attempt to go 6-2 and extend their current winning streak to five (A new school record also as well).

(Claps in approval for the good job Mason did)

UM is doing well right now. The Wolverine men's team won Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions 67-53, improving to 4-3. The women's team are up 54-51 right now against the Hawkeyes.

Big Ten is a major conference and I really do not care for major conferences except the Pac-10 since Washington is my sister Alma Mater. Michigan is in a conference with 10 other schools which Michigan State is the powerhouse force. Mason Women had a rough time at Saint Joseph's but come home to play Howard at home on the 12th then GW on the 22nd. Mason Men have Dayton, Creighton and VMI coming to town so 18 home game winning streak will be tested against by a A-10, The Valley and Big South team.

Here is the stats for Rating Percentage Index and Strength of Schedule for Michigan.

I think Huskies men's basketball are doing well, 5-1。 Wow! :) Nice OT win against Texas Tech.

And good win for Mason men's basketball team, too :D

Looks like Purdue is being beat by Anthony Grant and the Crimson Tide. So kiss that #5 rank goodbye Boilermakers. Never mind it is an interesting comeback for Purdue.

Mason Men controlled the final four minutes against Creighton to top thew Blue Jays off 75-72! Mason Women cruised over the Howard Bison 62-55!

I also noticed the eight point loss for #16 Washington at #13 Georgetown but ranked team beat up each other such as #4 Kentucky (National Champions 2010).

No! Why Kentucky will win? Their coach is such a cheater!! ! Violated NCAA rules and treat academics 2nd to sports. Are Kentucky basketballers really student-athletes?

John Calipari is not a cheater at all. The students at the two previous schools were the ones at fault because they did the actions not Calipari. So it is the student athletes' faults for hiring an agent and not taking his SAT that cost them their Final Four banners. Calipari is innocent, students athletes at UMASS and Memphis are guilty for stupidity and violating NCAA regulations.

Rune, did you read the facts deeper because blaming the coach is often wrong. It is often the student athletes' fault for their actions and academics.
