I would go with a friend to the Rangers game, and try to be more social. You two could share the experience, at least that's what I would do.

Thanks Brainfre3ze_93. It looks like we're leaning towards the Rangers game at this point. Asked my neighbor but he has to make sure it's in his budget first.

So as it turns out, my neighbor is going to be away on vacation that week so I went back to Plan A and picked up tickets today for the Flyers at Bruins game on St. Patricks Day. Should be a crazy atmosphere!! Really looking forward to it. :D

I've also been working on getting tickets for the Sharks at Islanders in a week and a half but I don't think it's going to happen. My hockey buddy stepson is in a wheelchair and multiple calls to the handicap accessible office have gone unreturned. :?

Anyway, the B's can get back to .500 with a win against Carolina tonight. Sharks are in a total funk. Much more concerned about the Sharks with their major line-up changes than the Bruins, who I think were just a little hungover.

So the Bruins dropped another one last night in a game that turned into a brawl. Hopefully, they can get the wheels back on the track against the Leafs on Thursday. :)

Well I do hope the Bruins get back on track. I just hope it is not against the Leafs but that will be a tough game. The Leafs play the Jets tonight and than follow it up against Bruins. I always fear the second game when teams play 2 games in 2 nights.

Dallas has Anaheim up next, I hope it turns out with a win.

So, I'm certainly not gloating or anything, but the Bruins looked sharp and spirited against the Leafs last night. Still a 3-4 record but that includes two quality wins against Chicago and Toronto (not to mention Tampa Bay). Completely not worried about Boston. Looking forward to the Bruins - Sharks game tomorrow night. Currently watching San Jose in a nice battle against New Jersey ... 2-2 midway through the 3rd. The Sharks need to get it together or they could find themselves in a deep early season hole on the other side of this east coast swing.

I'm completely fine with San Jose in a deep hole. 8)

The Bruins played great against the Leafs. I am always amazed at how well Chara plays and he can take a good player like Kessel and dominate him. I really hope the Leafs and the Coyotes get back on track soon as they have not been playing well at all

What a difference a night makes. The Sharks pull off impressive back-to-back wins against New Jersey and Boston to go to 3-3 while the Bruins are struggling once again. :?

The Leafs beat the Canadiens last night. This is the time that I always gloat and make fun of my brother who is a huge Canadiens fan. It was a good game and I love watching overtime games espeacailly when my team wins.

Your house must be pretty interesting during the season?

Well we haven't lived together but it was quite interesting growing up. We still take part in long distance mocking of each others team. He even sent my son a Montreal Canadiens Teddy bear when he was born.

Good news last night the Coyotes pulled off a good win last night. I always am nervous when they play the Ducks but they played a fairly good game.

I couldn't stand to be around Philly fans in general. Take a look at any sport in Philadelphia, and their fans are usually the worst in behaviour. * 2nd is Oakland Raiders *[/quote]

Please don't lump all Philly fans together. I'm a Flyers NUT, but HATE to go to the arena unless I can swing seats on the glass. If you can ignore the language from the upper levels, Glass seats are awesome. One game I went to, some fans were there from the opposing team wearing their jerseys. The flyers fans were telling them the best, and safest, places to go after the game. Also where not to wear their jerseys to avoid the knuckleheaded fanatics.

Welcome to the thread, GreyGirl.

Must be awesome to have seats on the glass ... never been so lucky to have that perspective for an NHL game although I have been pretty close at some college games. It's nice to hear that not all Philly sports fans are beasts and it's also cool that the Bruins-Flyers rivalry is back at the level it was at in the 70s. :)

Thanks for the welcome!

My husband and I usually save all year for one game, so if we can get glass seats from the ticket agency, that's where we sit. There's nothing quite like hearing the puck clatter along the glass in front of you or seeing someone squished between the glass and the defender. Forsberg sure looked funny...kinda like a bug on a windshield.

As for the Flyers-Bruins rivalry, Let's hope the Flyers goal tending can keep up. I love my Fly-Guys, but ugh, the goalie choices they make...

Jagr line's looking good tonite...only 2 min. left and 4-2 over the Leafs :D
