Also I support Navy Basketball since I was in NJROTC in high school.

No! Why Kentucky will win? Their coach is such a cheater!! ! Violated NCAA rules and treat academics 2nd to sports. Are Kentucky basketballers really student-athletes?

John Calipari is not a cheater at all. The students at the two previous schools were the ones at fault because they did the actions not Calipari. So it is the student athletes' faults for hiring an agent and not taking his SAT that cost them their Final Four banners. Calipari is innocent, students athletes at UMASS and Memphis are guilty for stupidity and violating NCAA regulations.

Rune, did you read the facts deeper because blaming the coach is often wrong. It is often the student athletes' fault for their actions and academics.

Oh I see. Sigh --- I am still superficial, very much influenced by his words ‘If you qualify, we want you. If you don’t, we still want you.' (http://blogs.ajc.com/jeff-schultz-blog/ ... -marriage/) What's more, Kentucky was once notorious for being on probation for three years and I fear that history could repeat itself again under Calipari's reign as head coach, because as in the case of Memphis and Massachusetts, the whole team is geared only to win and not to follow rules while developing the student part of student-athletes.

Plus, would any coach sharp enough noticed a man from humble backgrounds prepping himself as if he was a rich kid? Would he NOT report about this irregularity? My misguided feelings are that somehow, Calipari just cheats the whole NCAA in this area.

Thanks anyway for pointing out the responsibility of student-athletes, I didn't know that they can also emply agents to make them rich. But again, I just see them as 'immature people' who want fast money... Does money really grow on trees? Go ask Georgetown ex-coach John Thompson Jr., who took down a famous drug lord who acted much worse like the modern-day agent: Rayful Edmond III.

Anyway, I do not miss the good old days of the Fab Five, even as they revolutionized basketball. Who would have thought they are all Cambys in basketball? Glad that Michigan purged their stained records before NCAA knows it. :)

I also noticed the eight point loss for #16 Washington at #13 Georgetown but ranked team beat up each other such as #4 Kentucky (National Champions 2010).

Washington would wind-up winning (Pac-10) anyway. :)

So does Mason and Michigan. :)

I have no dobut that Washington will take the Pac-10 title.

Mason will be fighting for it since William & Mary and five other schools looks like challengers for the CAA title.

Michigan I am very dobutful since Michigan State and Purdue are the powerhouse school in the Big Ten (Personal Pick Michigan State since Purdue will mess up big time eventually in Conference).

Kentucky is more than likely my pick for the National Title since Calipari is a great coach. The stuff that happened at UMass and Memphis were never his fault in the first place because the student athletes were violating the NCAA Regulations in the first place.

CAA a 5-horse race? Hmm, CAA looks interesting, it'll be fun to watch Mason win! :)

Cam Long and Isiah Tate would be seniors next year. Cam Long by far is the new clutch and dagger of CAA in the point guard position since Eric Maynor's departure (Statistical Cam was better than Maynor).

Mason beat VMI, the leading scoring offense in the nation (93.2 ppg) last night 89-86! VMI was 0-4 on the road coming into the contest and allowed the most ppg defensively 101.2 points.

But Wolverines are only 6-5. :( Not so good as we have to survive Big Ten.

Ive been saying this all along since the beginning of the season Purdue is for real. Best starting 5 in the country. Defense wins Championships!

Defense may win championships but so does offensive. I am not hating Purdue but being cocky is something that will bring your game down when playing a tough opponent. The Big East is a tough conference to play since West Virginia, Villanova, Syracuse, UCONN and Georgetown are good teams this year.

Yeah, I think the surviving the Big East alone will certainly gain any team above lots of favor...

Big East is the Big East.

Today was great for Mason since they defeat the Pre-Season favorite Old Dominion 71-55! Old Dominion beat #11 Georgetown two weeks earlier only to get owned by Mason.
