Please don't lump all Philly fans together. I'm a Flyers NUT, but HATE to go to the arena unless I can swing seats on the glass. If you can ignore the language from the upper levels, Glass seats are awesome. One game I went to, some fans were there from the opposing team wearing their jerseys. The flyers fans were telling them the best, and safest, places to go after the game. Also where not to wear their jerseys to avoid the knuckleheaded fanatics.[/quote]
That's good to know.

Goddamn, the Habs have been disgraceful this season. I'm surprised the Leafs have actually been doing well so far but I doubt they're gonna last long. Penguins will whoop their asses for sure.

I can now tell you, there are some great Flyers fans. I had a wonderful time in Philly, and the crowd was a lot of fun. Most people I ran into really knew their hockey, and were actually welcoming when they learned that I came from SoCal just to watch my team play.
The worst I got were a few boos here and there, but it wasn't any worse than any other building I've been in.

The couple right in front of us said we had to try the cheese fries while we were there.
When we said we were too full of cheese steaks to go eat anything else... the lady said that was unacceptable, she went out and bought some cheese fries with seasoning salt all over em, and forced us to share. She was right, some of the best fries I've ever had.

I'll definitely go back to another game in Philly.

Awesome! Were they the Crab Fries? MUST eat Chickie's and Pete's buffalo chicken and crab fries at Flyer's games  (that's the closest smiley I could find to drooling, lol)

We really do appreciate fans here who know their hockey :D

Maybe Hubby and I will see you around here next year. Lets Go Fly-ers!
After all, I have been calling your team "Flyers West"

(Get back soon Pronger.)

I thought she had called em crab fries. Part of why I wasn't very interested from the start, I don't like seafood, but there didn't seem to be anything crabby about them.

It's pretty well known out here not to believe any trade rumors, unless the player in question has some ties to Philly, than it's as good as done.

When the crowd would chant "let's go Flyers", I would join in, but add 'west" to the end as loud as I could. :)

I don't think the Kings will be back there next year, I think we take turns playing one game in each other's building on opposite years. Flyers were out here last year, but not this one.

I'm as surprised as you are. Usually Montreal is ahead of the division, or at least in contention for the lead.
I just hope Dallas can continue its winning ways. * right now 7-2 and leading in the Pacific. * 8)

I was just given a 4 pack of tickets to the Coyotes game on Saturday against the Kings. It should be a fun game. They will be having a big halloween event and giving out treats and things so it will be fun to take the kids to as well.

Cool. I will be out there for that game too. :D I was out last thursday and the Kings got the win with a SO, but they lost at Home last night in another SO. Curious to see which Kings team shows up on Sat.

I am just hoping the Coyotes put together a good game. I was at the game against the Jets which was a great game and a lot of fun. I hope this game can be on par but I cant complain as I didn't pay for the tickets.

Aaarrrggghhhh!! !! Any comments?? Ideas?? How can one team have such horrible judgement in goalies for so long?? How can they have let up 5? :wall:
Thanks for allowing my rant, I feel a bit better now.

Bryzgalov was good for the Coyotes last year until the playoffs. Once there he stunk the place up. Hopefully he can improive a little bit for your Flyers.

For me, all it took was for me to complain about 3 unanswered/unreturned phone calls about wheelchair and companion tickets for my kid. I think they probably realized the seats weren't going to sell so they gave us the tickets figuring they'd get us for parking and beer for Dad. :)

Sunday past: Cleveland Browns 6, Seattle Seahawks 3 in the NFL
Just finished: Winnipeg Jets 9, Philadelphia Flyers 8 in the NHL
Anyone else see a problem here???? :wall: :eew:

Well at least the Cards and Rangers wound up outscoring the Jets and Flyers.

... and the Bruins fell to 3-6. :(
