Athletics & Aspergers
I myself am quite into athletics.. I didn't do a sport until I thought around the age of 10 that I wanted to do athletics. Since around the age of 11 I was up and running In the beginning I was kind of mediocre, but now I beat 90% of the club, also some older people. This is with running though, with technical parts I am still around average because there is something not 100% right with my motorics, I think because of AS I can't point out what, but the motorics are the bottleneck for me, still I like doing those things.
Some of my personal records:
4.6 km: 19 minutes 35 seconds
5 km : 20 minutes 18 seconds
far jump : 4.7 meter
high jump: 1.45 meter
Javelin throwing: ~25 meter
100m sprint: 13.86 seconds
Does anyone else here enjoy athletics/ is on a club/ can share his or her performances?
I myself enjoy running with music on, for me it is not only making it less boring, it makes running an experience and makes me go faster and can run for longer (at least it feels like that )
