As an antiques dealer, I've come across some peculiar pieces... and right now, I have some of the strangest:

One of the two original seating charts for the Phoenix Suns' original venue, Veteran's Memorial Coliseum; almost 5'Wx5'T, from the boardroom.

The scoreboard from one of the older Phoenix high school baseball fields, in working condition; about 13'Wx5'T.

A 56 oz. hand-turned baseball bat; early 50's, type of wood unknown.

A pair of 1940's kangaroo leather football cleats, worn by an All-American from Nebraska.

I love things like this, just odd pieces that are unusual, things I won't see anywhere, no matter where I go. Anyone else have sometime bizarre, or seen something while they were traveling, that really stood out as unique. Not necessary anything grand, just something different or relatively scarce?

Not sure if these types of memorabilia would be of interest to you, but I have a pair of wrestling boots and trunks that were worn by the "Nighthawk" masked wrestler, a pair of Converse "Chuck" style hi-tops used in Gene Hackman's "Hosier" basketball movie, and some vintage Capezio black leather mens' ballet slippers used by Jack LaLanne on his classic fitness TV show from KGO TV in San Francisco. All have signed pictures for sake of authentication, although some might argue that these items constitute more of entertainment memorabilia than sport.
