I keep having weird experiences when tired.I've had sleep paralysis in the past but had a few worrying experiences lately. The first time I experienced it was about two months ago where I saw static/horrible headache and couldn't move whilst about to drift off to sleep and woke up due to it.The second time I'd had a pretty bad headache that day and was trying to sleep too ,but it happened suddenly and I experienced something like a hallucination.I came to and knew I was in my room ,but was unable to move and had pins and needles in my arms.Is there a reason for this or can it be attributed to sleep paralysis?usually when I get sleep paralysis its just a feeling of being breathless, unable to move for half a minute at most so wondering if these are symptoms too.

sounds like you could benefit from a visit to a sleep lab. the part of your brain which turns off the voluntary muscle control [to prevent things like sleepwalking] is engaging before you have fallen asleep, or is failing to disengage soon enough before you awaken. this happens to me once in a blue moon or so, usually after being dog-tired after a hard day of work. however, it doesn't happen enough for me to pay big moolah to go see a doc about, but since you described more frequent experiences, it really would be a good idea for you to take advantage of your nation's universal health care and do see a sleep doc.
take care
I have had paralysis in the morning - I have had two sleep studies, and in fact have some issues I am being treated for, but the paralysis part the neurologist said is actually normal - at least in the morning. Not sure about night time falling asleep though, or the other symptoms - so yes, you should go have a study.
