Has anyone here tried kayaking? I read that it kayaking is a great cardio burning workout.

I've done a little bit of sea kayaking. I remember feeling it was a bit like riding a bicycle except in water. Lightweight and efficient. You get tanned a lot doing it on the face and arms the way I remember it too. Light reflecting from the surface of the water.

I got my first kayak towards the end of last summer. I absolutely LOVE it! It is a great cardio exercise. What I like the most about being out on the water is how relaxing it is.

It sounds fun. There are few places to do kayaking here.

I love
I love water and water sports. This is one of my favourites. I don't have to run. I don't have to be very coordinated. I only use my hands, the strongest part of my body, and I watch the landscapes of lake or river. I'm (almost) alone, far away from the crowds. It's very relaxing.

It's very easy to burn a skin or get a sunstroke, so I always remember about cap, light T-shirt and UV-filters.
