For the first time in my life I might have to wear glasses soon.

Will I find that people will treat me differently when I have on glasses? :?

I've worn glasses since I was young, so I have no idea what the difference is if any. But I don't mind! I think glasses look great aesthetically!

Most people don't care if you wear glasses. The only people who cared when I got glasses in the 6th grade were kids who already bullied me, everyone else didn't give a crap, including the adults around me. All of my friends who have glasses also don't get treated differently for it. Some people even are attracted to others who have glasses and have a "thing" for it.

But since we're not in 2nd grade anymore that's hopefully not a real issue.

Personally I don't find people treat me differently when I wear mine, but I also hate wearing them so I don't wear them often.

I live in England and I use specsavers.

Are there any type/style of glasses you can get which are barely noticeable on your face?

That is true. I've never broken my nose though. (I'm sorry, if that's what happened to you.)
