Ok, I posted this in the parents discussion but no hits. I have an 8yo daughter with AS and she has been having seizures increased lately, I think, due to diet. I have been lazy and let her eat school lunches. I know. Anyway, started researching diet and autism and there is tmi. Most refer to gfcf diet and scd as the best. Behavioral specialist said there is no evidence, but (wink wink) she can tell me that there are many anecdotal reports she has had from her patients. Since she can't really talk about it in the medical community, she gave no more info. Does anyone have first hand experience with this? I am trying the scd on myself to see if I can handle it to make and to figure out how to make it flow so the transition is easier on everyone. Feeling pretty good myself, but not sure if it is more the exercise I started doing. Should have done it separate. Any info?
