Hey,

I was wondering how much you guys can bench, squat, clean, and how many consecutive pushups you can do...

Thanks!

i was a kinda husky chubby guy back in high school and when I first started i could barely do the bar plus 10 on each side. in other words I was "weak as f**k" to my classmates in the weight training class when I was 15.

from some practice I got up to 135. havent really done much working out weights since because my posture is off. My spinal alignment is off, and my neck is curved forward, SO I wouldn't want to make it worse. Plus benching is one most overrated weight exercises. Most big tough, frat, nt, bro whatever you call them seem to do benching and not much else.

I could probably do 135 right now for a maybe at most 3 reps and thats pushing it. I could probably max doing 1 of 150 or something like that.

Not strong in anyone's book and now I am too skinny as well.

Bench 180
Squat 300
Clean 180
Pushups 27

FYI lightening benching has a bad reputation but it's NOT a bad workout. Having a big bench is good for your shoulders and your lower pecs

-Bench 270

-Clean- never tried max. I've cleaned 165 up to do military presses behind the neck in sets of 6. Don't know what the extrapolation could be.

-Squat ~never maxed it.

I bulk up too much too fast, and my clothes don't fit me well. You need more calories to sustain the extra mass. Why ?- (I ask myself) .

If you can bench your body weight one time; you should be in shape.

I do the bow flex now just to keep in shape.

Bench: 315; 5-6 reps

Curl (seated preacher) 145; 8-10 reps

I don't do pullups, but I use the high pulley cable (pulling down on a bar like you'd do a pullup with your body weight). I have it set on 290; 12 reps.

I don't do squats or cleans due to bad knees & lower back :(

Pushups, when I'm away or can't get in the weight room; 50 with someone sitting on my shoulders.

Now I guess I need to qualify all that..... I'm a bodybuilder. The air raid siren I'm lifting in my avatar, is about 500 lbs.

Squat 210
Bench 182
Deadlift 300

Edit: Not sure about pushups but I managed 25 reps of 100lb bench press..Jelly arms!

My squats are weak. I helped out at a powerlifting competition recently and watched a little chap of 165lb squatting over 500lbs.
I also saw a 235lb guy deadlift 750lbs that was truly quite incredible to a spindly chicken like me!

I am not much into the weight training as compared to other sorts of strength training. As for estimates on what I have done in the past year... all of this is based around my home use equipment.

Bench Press: not sure, seeing as I dont have time to go to an actual gym. I have maxed out my 180lb home weight training set though. Squats and deadlifts would be the same though :/

Pushups... well considering your pushing your own weight back up... I can keep at a decent rate nowadays unlike in the past.

Single arm curls, seated and proper form. I can go on nearly forever with 40lb dumbells (for those who don't know, they are meant for one-hand use. barbells are the long bars for two-hand use.) If I actually push myself, 65-70lbs is the max ive done, repping at an 8.

but yeah, I knw ive gotten a hell of a lot stronger since working my new job. Im 6'4" and was at around 190-200lbs. Now I am around 225, so like yeah. I am NOT fat/Overweight by a long shot. BMI is totally inaccurate though, I hate it putting me at a 26/27 :/
