So, I have psoriasis for nearly all my life. Last year I went vegan and my psoriasis, exczema disappeared after not having animal products. I decided on the same day of the day I went vegan of this month to go and try to find out what was causing my flare ups. So I eat just chicken for a few weeks, ends up I flare up. So then I have to detox and just eat vegan. It clears. Then I just eat pork, then fish, then beef, not at the same time same routine as the others and I end up having a flare up.
To think I may be allergic to some kind of protein in animals is just sad. All my life I have had this and the one thing that I'm allergic to is animal. I mean, why? Why did I have to allergic to animal? Why couldn't Idk be allergic to just citrus in oranges? Why animal as well?

Just an allergy rant. It makes me upset because I moved in back with my dad. And he makes all these non vegan meals and I love his cooking. And I feel like I'm not part of the family because I'm eating a separate meal from them.

Wow, I've never heard of someone being allergic to meat. I had a similar experience when I decided to try GF/CF. I didn't really expect not eating gluten to make any difference, but I stopped being sick and fatigued every single day when I did it. This past weekend I had some pizza because it was there, and guess what? I got sick and fatigued. I never would have suspected having an intolerance to gluten. It's annoying when your intolerance is something that's in everything.

Vegetarian/vegan is an absolutely wonderful way to go through this life. People know you as a very sensitive and caring and conscious person. You'll soon see how those personal qualities fit perfectly with your new dietary life. It may seem like you've given up a lot; it pales in comparison to what you'll gain.

I've heard of this before but believe that it is very rare.

What does your diet consist of at the moment? Give as much detail as you like please. I can always suggest some good foods for vegans or to point out where a deficiency might lie.

I was naturally lactose and intolerant.

-Whole wheat sprouted grain breads

-Some fake meat here and there...I have to be careful some have whey in them

-Lots of vegetables, cauliflowers, broccoli, brussel sprouts, bell peppers, zuichini, spinach, um...radish, mushrooms, onions, garlic, tomatos, er...hold on having a brain fart, potatos, er..green beans, chilis of course, seaweed, kale, asparagus,

-My staples are usually potatos, noodles or rice oh and beans

-Oh some fake cheese

I am a really good cook with the vegan meals. Its just everyone in my house, for the exception of my youngets brother, is mainly omnivore. And none of them want to try my food.

I make vegan pizza, I found this really delicious cornbread pizza crust.

Vegan lasagna

Lots of things, lol.

Yesterday I made a broccoli, bell pepper, noodle soup. It was the bomb.

Sure.

I'll tell you my bellpepper soup had its main seasonings:

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Red Pepper

Black Pepper

Smoked Paprika

Vegetable base

Ms. Dash Original Blend

21 season salute

Cumin

For solid ingredients

Chilis

Bellpeppers

Broccoli and Rice noodles

But you see you always carmelize your seasonings. So I cooked the dry ingredients in a little bit of the green chili juice before adding any of the ingredients in.

You sound like you are getting a good variety of things. I am sleepy right now but will think of a few suggestions later.

I forgot to add that I added a little bit of liquid smoke into my bellpepper soup.

People can be allergic to some very specific things.

For example I am allergic to one particular spice (which is thankfully rarely, if ever, used in most dishes) but NOTHING else. Even spices coming from very similar plants are fine.

So it does not surprise me if you are allergic to a specific protein or enzyme.
