The closest I come is that I'm allergic to aspartame which has glutamate in it, then again I have bad reactions to Splenda and Ace-K, no bad reactions to MSG.
If you notice that you have clearly defined reactions to this stuff, my advice is to read up on what's related and avoid it. On the bright side, unless you really take it all the way to the gluten-free route, it just means you're eating better food rather than over processed stuff. Not too many big sacrifices.
