For the past two days I have been in a "Flare" of my Chronic Fatigue. I slept most of the day yesterday, and along with my usual flu like symptoms, I have been feeling oddly calm. One of the things I have noticed, is that my usual heightened sensory perception seems to be gone; especially my hyperacusis.

There were some pretty noisy fireworks going off on the evening of Independence day, and I did not even flinch. Today, I woke to the sound of noisy sanders and scrapers as my landlord worked on the exterior of my house. I actually went back to sleep (with earplugs in, of course.) At a doctor appointment, the usually torturing boom of my doctor's voice only produced mild annoyance, not the visible flinching that it usually does. I was also more outgoing; I actually chatted with an elderly man in the waiting room and did not feel desperate to get away like I usually do. I wonder what's going on? Whatever it is, I hope that it lasts! My fiance said that I seem more NT. 8O :)

Are you serious or is that sarcasm? I don't mind, either way..
