So, two days ago I had to go to hospital because of badly chew meat pieces stuck in my esophagus. They have been retired with a endoscopy. And now, since yesterday evening, my back and my ribs have become painful. Is this normal? is it because of the endoscopy or the esophagus having being blocked?

I'm not a doctor, but I'd say based on my own experience, that you strained your diaphragm muscles while that meat was stuck in there, and also, the endoscope scratches the inside of the esophagus. Sore muscles in the chest and throat happen any time I choke, or catch a bug which results in severe upset stomach or coughing. If in doubt, definitely ask your doctor, or go online and search for others who have just been scoped, and see if they say they have the same sorenesses.
