They have little plastic tooth guards you can get in the sports section of walmart that you boil and then shape to your teeth. You can wear it while you sleep to prevent grinding teeth. I got a youth sized one since my mouth is small and it is fine.

I focused a lot of attention on relaxing my jaw muscles and getting out of the habit when awake. I also make sure to relax my jaw as I go to sleep. I have used Tiger balm on the muscles before bed, too. If you can find a really good chiropractor, you can get your jaw adjusted.

Cultivate more awareness of your body - it goes unnoticed, so consciously relax your jaw muscles at regular intervals. It's training your body to do something different.

Use a bite-guard for sleeping if you can get one (if there's a cheaper version than a dentist provides then good, but it has to be safe).

Or another trick is just to stick a bit of your tongue inbetween your teeth, helps provide sensory feedback when your jaws try to close & stops the grinding as you go to sleep.

All the best.

wear a night guard for sleeping, and if you notice you're clenching during the day put your tongue on your roof. can't clench if you're doing that.
